5 Days In

I’m on the 5th day of the 17day diet now. I’m not going to lie and say it’s been a walk in the park. To be perfectly honest it’s no fun at all, though I am seeing results already. When I started the diet my weight was at 177.5 and this morning I weighed in at 174. My girlfriend has also commented on my weight loss and I’ve noticed that my stomach has shrunk down a little bit. Sooo, overall the diet is a bit of a pain and i still crave things like bread, cheese and most of all PIZZA but I’m seeing results, so fuck it, I’ll stick with this one.

PS. tomorrow is cheat day! Once a week, my girlfriend and I decided that we are allowed to have a cheat meal that is not even close to being on the diet. Eggs, sausage and homefries, here I come!

So it begins…

Alright, so my diet begins tomorrow, or I guess technically today seeing as it’s after midnight. Either way tonight I made up a sheet with all my measurements on it as well as what my goals are, both overall and after the first 17 days.

Right now my main goal is to drop 5 pounds this week. I think that’s a pretty acceptable target. Losing those first 5 pounds is going to end up putting my weight back to where it was around towards the end of last year. The other goals mostly relate to my measurements. I essentially would like to lose about 2 inches off of my stomach, chest and thighs. I figure this is pretty doable in 17 days.

Finally the most difficult goal of all is going to be to make sure I am up and out of bed by 9:30 am every day. Don’t know how well that’ll work, but hey, it’s worth a shot.
